Haley Steele

Best hair stylist I've had! I call her the "TRENDING CHEMIST!" She always gets the color I want right and she even makes suggestions to make it look better than what you want. I've wanted just brown and she added different tones of brown to make it not dull and boring. Also, she is amaaaaaaazing at haircuts, scalp massages, color correction, etc. If you want your hair done right, you just see Haley! Seriously, she can do it all with ease. I've gone from blonde to dark brown (which is hard to do for other people), from ombré to balayage and they've always come out great. I'll post some of the work she's done on me :)

Haley did an amazing job on my hair. I was extremely nervous but she put me at ease. Before my service even started, she took the time to really understand what I wanted and what my ideas are. I brought her three pictures and she morphed my favorite things from each photo to create the exact hair color and cut that I wanted. My hair has NEVER looked this good. Her scalp massage was wonderful as well. She even taught me how to style my hair at home. I bought a few of the products she recommended and I am so happy I did. Haley is the BEST stylist I have ever been to and I am most definitely not going anywhere else. I am a Haley for Lifer.... You truly are missing out if you don't go see her. She also is great with Mens cuts!! She cuts my dad, uncle and brother's hair too. They all look fantastic!

Shortly after moving to Carlsbad, I had to start the painful process of finding a new stylist. Except... I hit the jackpot on my first try! I was lucky enough to walk into a salon on a whim, ask if there was any availability, and as luck would have it, Haley had a last minute cancellation. The rest is history! She has a pretty loyal following of clients, so I try to book my appointments well in advance. She keeps my ombre looking good and will also be doing a totally adorable Dutch braid crown for me next month when I attend Kaaboo! Haley is such a down-to-earth person, it's always a treat to hang out with her for an hour... Getting my hair done never feels like a chore. She uses really high quality products, is always up on the latest trends, and don't even get me started on that little mini scalp massage when she conditions my hair! Since moving to Carlsbad a couple of years ago, I have been looking for a new hairstylist, and thankfully I found Haley! The last several stylists I went to would always cut my hair funky so that when I parted it on the side, the layers would look a little crazy. I explained my problem to Haley, and she always cuts my hair perfectly! Haley is also fantastic with color! I decided to finally try out the ombre/bayalage trend. When she first colored it, I was scared I went too blond, so Haley darkened it by adding some lowlights and a different tint. I get so many compliments on my color and how natural it looks. I got it colored almost 4 months ago, and it is growing out beautifully!

I love going to see Haley! The first time I saw her was after I decided to color my own hair and it was a disaster! She did a color correction and it was awesome! You could not even tell I screwed up my hair. I have been going to her since and she always does a great job with color and cuts!! She is super friendly, easy to talk to and very creative! Will definitely continue to see her!
