About Barbara Achampong
I'm passionate about keeping my clients hair healthy , expounding on your natural beauty by giving you the perfect style and sending you out into the world looking your best ! I bring 20 years of experience originating from the Potomac academy of hair Design .
My specialties are cutting , color , weave installments, natural hair care, keratin treatments and styling . I use some of the best products to insure the health of each clients hair. I also love to work on a variety of clients . My clients should always feel relaxed , happy and satisfied when they come to my salon .

I have been going to Barbara for almost a year now, I met her by chance while doing my grocery shopping. I was looking for a stylist in the Northern Virginia area, because it was a real chore to travel to Maryland to get my hair done. I have chemically treated hair that had extensive damage. Over the past year Barbara has done wonders with deep conditioning and different protectives hair styles (Crochet Braids, and Weaves) that have allowed my hair to finally start growing in strong. Barbara is talented with color and cuts as well; I consider myself fortunate to have found her. An AMAZING Experience from Start to Finish An amazing experience from start to finish is actually an understatement. I've have been going to Barbara for about 6 months, and I am more than thoroughly pleased with my hair. I have natural hair, so sometimes it can be a little difficult to manage. Barbara is always gentle with my hair even when she washes it. I usually go to her for a wash and set that includes a trim and flat iron. I've had a few bad experiences with stylists trimming my hair and what I like about Barbara is that she really listens to her customers. She was able to calm my fears and thoroughly explains the hair care process. I've also noticed a difference in my hair in that it has really grown out and that it looks and feels healthier. I've even referred Barbara to another friend who feels the same way, and we are both very pleased with our hair and the hair services that Barbara provides.
