About Hannah Melnyk
My name is Hannah Melnyk, and I’m your new lash gal based in the Sola Salon of New Albany, Ohio. 🌼🐝
I received my license with the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology in 2012 and have experienced in everything from hair cutting and coloring, makeup, facials, waxing, laser hair removal, and nail services.
In 2019, Hannah Melnyk Lashes was born from the dining room of my 2 bedroom apartment. Most of my OG clients will rave about my sweet golden retriever, Heidi, who always loved having her besties over for a lash sesh. I have an ornery, Spider-Man obsessed 6 year old son, Madden, who is my biggest fan and also my part time business videographer on the weekends. His favorite part about what I do is my new salon space. My husband, Andrew, and I have been married since 2019 and were long distance for nearly 6 years, up until fall of 2022. He always has thoughtful ideas for my business and has helped me tremendously behind the scenes of Lash & Bee and setting up my suite.
My focus for Lash & Bee is to create an environment for women where they are free to be themselves, have meaningful connection, and take a mental time-out. My goal is for you to leave feeling better than you came. “Better” may seem vague, but maybe this means feeling more rested, or feeling beautiful for the first time in a very long time. This time is all about you!

Hannah was AMAZING. This was my first time working with her and due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts, she made time available for me on a Monday night after work / my law school schedule and did not rush one bit or seem inconvenienced. She was extremely personable but professional and by the end of my appointment, I felt like we had known each other for years. Hannah is my third lash tech and while at my previous two appointments, I came, we started and whatever their style was, was what I got. There is nothing particularly wrong with that at all but Hannah and I spent the first 10 or 15 minutes together talking about what exactly it was that I wanted rather than simply picking from the available styles. Within 5 minutes of seeing the results, I started a group chat letting my friends know they had to check her out. I live in downtown Columbus and not only do I think she could compete with 'city' techs, she's better than them. Great vibes. Highly recommend x 100.
