About Kimberly Barber
I was blessed at a very young age with a passion for fashion and design. I decided while in high school to take cosmetology classes and found instant JOY. Now 30 years later, I have the best job in the world to make people look stylish and feel confident about themselves. Each year I am committed to staying on top of the latest trends. I attend classes and workshops that enhance my abilities to offer a variety of options. It is important that I understand what each client desires, and make sure the result meets their expectations. Some of our worst hair problems can be solved with hair products and I am a solutions GIRL. As you will read in the testimonials below, there is no age limit and any gender is welcome. I came to Kim for an up-do for my senior prom and wasn't exactly sure what I wanted it to look like. I told her to make it fun and just do what she thought would look best on me. The end result was exactly what I wanted! It was all curled and pulled back and different from the other up-do's on the other girls. I was so happy that my up-do stayed together all night long through dinner and dancing. I highly recommend Kim Barber for a gorgeous up-do!
Kimberly has been my hair therapist for 30 years. No matter what time of the year and the Michigan weather she always has a solution. Each month during the appointment, Kimberly asks questions to make sure I am able to handle my hair. At 41 years old I decided to color my hair for the first time ever! I was a little nervous but had total trust in my good friend Kimberly Barber. I have long strawberry blonde hair but Kimberly thought it was best to just do auburn highlights so it would not be so drastic so that is what we did. It came out absolutely wonderful and I love it! She also did a fabulous haircut for me as well! Kimberly is the best and I highly recommend her!
