Enjoyed a pampered experience with Sher at Beauty Love Alchemy! We talked through a few gentle updates until spring and I am super pleased with the result of a beautiful color touch up and a cut with great shape. I relaxed and soaked in the sites of her lovely decor with some tasty coffee, chocolates and a warm hand paraffin treatment. In love with the seaberry shampoo that was used! Super easy to find and great parking, too.

her is a master (genius) with color and cuts. I would never go to anyone else for color. Sher's haircuts grow out perfectly, which is nice if it takes awhile to find time in your schedule to get back to see her. This is a no-pressure, no judgment zone, and Sher will take the time to make sure she understands exactly what you want. Sher is also hilarious and a lot of fun.

Sherry is magic. Not only is she a great hairstylist and colorist, she is also an amazing human being. I could brag about this woman all day but I will focus on her skills. A few years ago I visited her at her old willow glen location, she did a fantastic job cutting my hair. I have long hair and I had always been very hesitant to cut it... nobody could get my layers right. I had been going to very high end Aveda Salons for years and always had my hair cut by master stylists, but they were never as good as Sherry. Not even close. My layers always turned out too choppy, too short, or just plain boring. Sherry has a unique style when it comes to layering hair. She gives my hair long flowy layers that compliment my facial features. She makes me prettier. She also takes the time to teach me about my hair type and recommends tips on how to get my hair to a healthier state. She never pushes her products on you either. I have never left her salon unsatisfied. Not a single time and that says a lot because prior to her, I had NEVER in my life left a salon fully satisfied with the way my hair looked. She is an expert in her craft and has perfected her skills. You're going to be in good hands and you're going to love the way you look. Since she left Willow Glen, the attention she gives you has only gotten better. Now you get one on one time with Sherry, from the beginning of your appointment to the very end. No assistants. It's awesome.

Sher is an amazingly talented cosmetologist. She is knowledgeable, professional and genuine. Sher did a color correction, cut and keratin treatment on my hair all while explaining every step to me and making me feel so comfortable. She is easy to talk to and really listens to what the client wants. I have never had someone be so meticulous with their work. She is my life and hair guru for now and always. Her solon's decor is so colorful and unique it's definitely a must see. She offers her clients tea, water, wine and so many snacks. I absolutely love my hair! Thank you Sher you are amazing!!

I have been having my hair cut, highlighted, and generally taken care of by the fantastic Sherry McGuire for more than 10 years, regardless of where in the bay area I move. She is always accommodating, helpful, and does a fantastic job. I really appreciate her efforts in making me look good. The salon's that Sher runs have always been great places to be, and Beauty Love Alchemy no different - it is a lovely little space, and you will be relaxed and spoiled with great treatment. Hint: Try the Green Tea (with the coconut finish), man that is good!

Her cuts work well with my hair texture and face shape with minimal fussing. I've received many compliments. This last time I tried something different and got my eyebrows dyed and waxed. She custom mixed the dye to match my hair! They look fantastic!! I highly recommend Sher. Her new salon is cute. The experience is very comfortable like visiting a friend and chatting over a cup of coffee.
