3 Strategies to Make Your 2024 Goals Stick

Every year we set out to kick the year into high gear with our resolutions and goals... and let's be honest, most years we fall short. Well, we’ve got news for you, it's not the goals that are the problem, it's the daily habits we need to create to get to our goals. Yeah, let that sink in for a minute.
We have three goal setting templates to help your goals feel more attainable and set you up to make the next 365 days count for your personal and business goals!
Strategy #1
Think about your life in buckets. When setting goals, you want to think about what area of your life it will impact.
To help you get started, use these 6 buckets:
- Personal
- Health
- Recreational
- Home
- Health
- Spiritual
- Career
Print out or screenshot the worksheet below and fill out with your goals under each bucket.
For example, “I want to earn more money” will fall in the career bucket, yet there are things you can add to the other buckets that will help you reach that career goal.
Strategy #2
Remove failure from the equation. How many times have we each set a goal and in the back of our minds we knew we weren't going to follow through? Think about these three things if there was no way to fail...
- What would I HAVE?
- What would I BE?
- What would I DO?

You might surprise yourself and realize things you tell yourself are out of reach can actually be achieved when you remove the fear of failure.
Strategy #3
Turn your goals into ‘intentions’. A goal by definition is an object of ambition, it's something you wish to achieve. An intention is an aim or plan. The difference is one may happen and the other WILL happen. Set these six intentions.
- I want to QUIT...
- I want to START...
- I want to LEARN...
- I want to CONTINUE...
- I want to TRY...
- I want to HAVE...
- I want to BE...
- I'm going to...
